SUMMARY:Plymouth in the Revolution
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a five-part series celebrating Plymouth in
the Revolution!\n\nTwo hundred and fifty years ago\, on April 19\, 1775\,
American history changed. Colonial forces faced the British army at
Lexington and Concord...and won. Word spread rapidly\, and two regiments of
Plymouth "Minute Men"\, led by Colonel Theophilus Cotton\, rallied to the
Patriot cause. For the next six years\, Plymoutheans participated in
 America's battle for independence. \n\nPart 3 - Ephraim Spooner & the Home
Front - Selectman\, Town Clerk and successful merchant\, Ephraim was one of
Plymouth's most influential Patriot leaders. His contributions illuminate
the military\, political\, and economic issues facing those keeping the
 home fires burning.\n\nSpeaker: Patrick Browne\, Executive Director\,
 Plymouth Antiquarian Society\n\n \n\n
