Emily Danforth's novel, Plain Bad Heroines, was named a Best Book of 2020 by The Washington Post, Buzzfeed.com and Book Riot. Emily has a Ph.D in in English-Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She lives in Rhode Island with her wife Erica.

This is Bracken MacLeod's second appearance at our Horror Symposium and we are thrilled to have him back! Bracken is the award-winning author of novels like Mountain Home, Stranded, and Come to Dust. His newest release, Closing Costs, is available at the Plymouth Library or wherever books are sold. 

Riss Neilson's YA fantasy debut novel, Deep in Providence, is slated for release on May 31st, 2022. We're very excited to have her here so early in her career!

Paul Tremblay returns for his second appearance at the Horror Symposium. Paul is the acclaimed author of Head Full of Ghosts, Cabin at the End of the World, and Growing Things. His 2020 release, Survivor Song, followed the plight of two best friends trying to escape a pandemic.
