It Takes a Village Part IV: Manomet and White Horse Beach

It Takes a Village Part IV: Manomet and White Horse Beach In-Person

Our popular series continues with a history of Manomet and White Horse Beach.  (This part was originally scheduled for July 13th)

Have you ever wondered how many "Villages" there are in the Town of Plymouth?  With her 134 square miles, Plymouth is the largest town geographically in Massachusetts.  Julie Burrey, Reference Associate and History Room Archivist, will share her knowledge of the origins and locations of these villages, dating back to the 17th Century.

We'll look at images and maps from the archives and other source locations, and find out more about these locales, and discover possibly that there are even more villages yet to be uncovered!

It Takes a Village is a five-part program, led by Julie Burrey, with Tom Cummiskey assisting.  This is a hybrid event which will take place both in person AND on Zoom - log-in information will be sent to you prior to the program.  Registration is required.
