Owls of Massachusetts In-Person
In this program, kids will learn about our local owls, their anatomy, and their behavior! Populating all but one continent, owls often introduce people to the fascinating lives of birds and the nocturnal world. This program will focus on the most common owl species found in Massachusetts, their significance in local habitats, and how to best protect these beautiful birds. We'll also be examining owl feathers, listening to owl calls, and dissecting pellets to see what our local owls are eating! (Please note that there will not be any live owls at this event.)
