Join us with local author, Eve Bankert for a reading of her book Tree Friends! Tree Friends is a heartwarming story of hope and friendship. When eight-year-old Maggie and
her parents move from their comfortable home in the States to a tropical island, Maggie struggles to adjust. An unexpected turn of events and perhaps a sprinkling of magic brings
Maggie new friends and a feeling of belonging. Following the reading of the book, children will have the opportunity to be creative and imaginative with a drawing and coloring activity. Geared for children ages 4-8 but all are welcome. No registration required. 

About the author:
Eve Bankert resides in Kingston, MA. Creativity is the fabric of this author; whether it be creating a whimsical story to tell her 5-year-old granddaughter or designing a piece of pottery. The freedom she gleans from the uncluttered and free-thinking minds of children is what guides her storytelling. When she is not story telling she works as a clinical microbiologist in Boston.
