Larchmont Remembered In-Person

Larchmont Remembered is a live presentation about the sinking of the steamship Larchmont in 1907, a maritime tragedy that took place off the coast of Block Island, RI, in February of 1907. This fascinating presentation covers the story of the ship, its crew and passengers, as well as accounts of survival, panic, murder and miracles.

Daniel F. Harrington, long-time columnist for the Providence Journal and Director of the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame, gives the presentation. His presentation features digitally restored photos, engaging graphics, live music, and eyewitness accounts to bring the story of New England’s most horrific sea disaster to life.
