Seed Saving/Sharing the Yield from the Garden In-Person

Jackie Millar and Lori Walsh, from Thyme for Wellness,

Saving seeds is one of the best ways to practice permaculture. Saving seeds allows you to save money and plant the best crops from the previous year's yield. Giving these to others in the community encourages building a permaculture and food community.  When you grow and save your own seeds you develop crops that are well suited for your climate and growing conditions as well as more disease resistant. We will go into the garden and harvest various seed heads from plants. Feel free to bring seed pods from your house too to process and share. We will place the seeds in seed envelopes to share and stock the seed library too. All ages. Registration is necessary
