Author Talk with Kurt Eidsvig In-Person

Please join us on September 26th at 6:30pm in the Fehlow Room at the Main Branch for a reading and author talk with Kurt Cole Eidsvig. Mr. Eidsvig will be discussing his new book, OxyContin for Breakfast. Mr. Eidsvig's poetry is an experiential journey on the never-ending quest for home. Filled with scenic road trips, vignettes from the devastating opioid epidemic, family dramas, and deep connections to visual art and art history, OxyContin for Breakfast, renders a beautiful and tragic contemporary vision of America.With deep Boston roots, OxyContin for Breakfast follows the changes in the city during the onset and spread of the opioid epidemic as one of its major themes. This book as well as Eidsvig's other works, are availble to checkout at our Main Branch. 

About the Author:

Kurt Cole Eidsvig is the author of the books OxyContin for Breakfast, Art Official, and POP X POETRY. His work has won awards from the Warhol Foundation/Creative Capital, The Massachusetts Cultural Council, The University of Montana, and The South Boston Literary Gazette. He lives and works in Key West, Florida.
