Using eBird with Mass Audubon

Using eBird with Mass Audubon In-Person

Described by Outside Magazine as a combination of "Strava-Yelp-Pokemon Go" for birders, eBird is a fun, educational app that records bird sightings and their locations. Perhaps you want to know the best spot nearby for seeing the Eastern Screech Owl - eBird can help with that! Plus, every recorded sighting helps to advance science for ecologists near and far.

In this session, Mass Audubon Education Coordinator Kim Snyder will show you the basics of how to use the app and explain how its data from citizen scientists is helpful to researchers. Already familiar with eBird? Great! We want to hear about your experiences using eBird (both good and bad!).
